Our try-outs consist of stunting, tumbling, and jumping. We are NOT a dance squad. If this
is your greatest asset, we are most likely not the team for you.
You do not have to
come with anything prepared
We will teach you all you need to do for the
try-out including basic stunts. Be prepared to work hard and be sore after.
We are looking for both male and female athletes. Males are expected to learn how to be solid coed bases. Females will either Base, Third, or Fly. As a rule of thumb Female Bases are average height and strong, Thirds are taller than average and have quick reflexes, Flyers are shorter and have good body control and flexibility. N.B. These are just general rules, one of our best bases is shorter than average and one of our best flyers is taller.
We do not have a height or weight requirement. However, you must come into
the try-out in good physical condition. We
are looking for athletic people, not necessarily former cheerleaders or gymnasts.
Gymnastic experience is most definitely a plus.
If you are able to round off flip then we'd be very interested in seeing you. If you are close to your flip please let us know.
